Just finished the oven and started the curing process. I’ll try to post the link to show the stages from beginning to completion. Our original plan was to use pool tiles but the color scheme was not right so went with the brick veneer. The base was filled with the perlite/Portland cement mix under the herringbone pattern but I didn’t take a photo. The most time consuming parts were removing the Styrofoam and bricking it.

Steve, that looks like a very happy oven! I like the detailed photos you took during the veneering phase. Also great to see so many hands involved with the work. I’m sure that will translate into satisfaction with the meals coming from your new oven.
